Modification (revision)
A revision to a published wage determination, carrying its own number, publication date and public record.
When the Department of Labor changes a general wage determination, it publishes a modification — a new revision of the same determination number, with its own publication date.
Each revision supersedes the one before it from its publication date. The interval between one publication date and the next is the window in which a revision was the current one.
The revision that governs a particular contract is not necessarily the newest one. Timing rules in the Federal Acquisition Regulation address when a revision published close to bid opening or award takes effect for a solicitation. Those rules are about contracts, and this archive does not apply them; it reports the publication dates so that a reader can.
This archive records both dates the source publishes for a revision — the date on the record and the date printed in the document's own modification table — and reports a disagreement between them rather than choosing.
