Superseded determination
A revision that a later revision has displaced, or a determination replaced at the annual rollover.
A revision is superseded when a later revision of the same determination is published. A determination as a whole is replaced when a new determination for the same locality and construction type takes over, which typically happens at the start of a year.
Superseded revisions remain publicly available, and reconstructing them is the reason this archive exists: the question an auditor or a certified-payroll clerk has is usually about a date in the past.
Archived wage determinations are available for information purposes only. Under FAR 22.404-1(a)(2), contracting officers may not use an archived wage determination in a contract action without obtaining prior approval of the Department of Labor. Every page here that shows a superseded revision says so, next to the rates.
